'Busty Balan' to be the face of Victoria’s Secret?

Whoever said buxom beauties could not model lingerie brands can mince their words now. Rumour has it that Vidya Balan may be approached by leading international lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret to become their brand ambassador in India.

Victoria’s Secret played the famous ‘Ooh la la’ song from Vidya’s forthcoming film, ‘The Dirty Picture’ during an international ramp show. The show was later shown on a fashion based channel.

A source close to Vidya said, “They’ve discovered that Indian women don’t fit into the international bracket when it comes to lingerie sizes. So, when they were thinking about a campaign specially aimed for Indian women who are generously endowed, Vidya’s name came to the fore. Of course, there’s a shock value too, when you have an A-list actor’s associated with a lingerie brand.”

“The campaign is at an ideating stage, and needs to go through various stages of approvals, before hitting the public space domain. It also includes getting an approval from the actor herself. But yes, there is a chance she might become the first model for the line that is aimed exclusively at Indian women, who are of bigger built than an average model,” added the source.

When the producers of the film were asked about the recent developments, they admitted that they were aware of the news. “We are aware of the lingerie brand using the music from our film for their fashion show. Yes, they have been showing a sudden interest. However, we can’t comment any further,” said Tanuj Garg, CEO, Balaji Telefilms.

Parents in India worried as youngistan 'discovers' Sunny Leone

A 15-year-old boy from a reputed school in South Mumbai was caught discussing Sunny Leone after watching pornographic videos of the adult star on the Internet.

The boy who was reprimanded by his teachers and parents said he was curious to know more about Leone after she made an appearance in Bigg Boss, a reality show on television.

Psychiatrists and sexologists in the city said this was not an isolated case. For the past two weeks, they are getting an increasing number of cases of youngsters watching porn clips in an attempt to know Leone and her work.

"Two days ago, the parents of a 16-year-old girl came to me and complained that their daughter was spending most of her time watching Leone’s porn videos on the Internet.

They had installed a software to keep a watch on her internet activities. When they confronted her, she said she was checking who Leone was and ended up watching porn clips.

She did not know how and when she got addicted to porn," said Dr Rajan Bhonsle, professor and head of the department of sexual medicines, KEM hospital and GS medical college.

"Ever since news of Leone`s participation in Bigg Boss was made public, I have been seeing parents complaining of their children`s sudden addiction to porn movies," said Dr Bhonsle. "All the cases have a common point — Sunny Leone.

There is so much curiosity about her that people are turning to the Internet to find out more. Since her identity is that of a porn star, people end up watching porn clips."

Leone was born as Karen Malhotra in Ontario, Canada, in May 1981. She has appeared in various reality shows in the US and was named among the world`s top 12 porn performers by fashion magazine Maxim in 2010.

Doctors believe organisers of Bigg Boss should have been more careful while introducing someone like Leone. "Bigg Boss is a very popular show and when a person who is otherwise unknown lands up in the house, people are bound to get curious," said child psychiatrist Dr Rajiv Anand who also runs the Rahat child guidance clinic in Andheri.

"I held a workshop in Bhayander on Sunday where parents told me that they were alarmingly distressed and disturbed with their children spending time online to get information on Leone.

Children in the 10-12 age group have excessive curiosity," said Dr Anand. Dr Bhosle agrees. "Though the organisers are trying to hide Leone`s identity from the housemates, the media is talking about her status as an adult star and the fact that she is a bisexual," he said.

The Leone phenomenon in India is not only restricted to children. "Even young couples are experiencing marital problems because of her. I dealt with a case in which a husband wanted his wife to behave like Leone after watching the adult star`s videos. The wife refused and it led to fights," said Dr Sunay Pradhan, consulting psychiatrist at Masina hospital.

There are others who feel porn addiction among teenagers is normal. "Teenagers watching porn is an age-related issue and a passing phase. As long as they are able to clear their doubts with a matured individual, it is fine. But if it starts affecting the child`s studies or life, one should intervene and offer help. Parents need to handle the issue carefully," said senior psychiatrist Dr Harish Shetty.

Kareena Kapoor Voted Sexiest Woman from Asia‎

Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor has emerged as the sexiest Asian woman in the world, according to a survey.

Eastern Eye, a weekly, conducted a survey through social networking sites like Twitter and Kareena came out on top, edging out last year's winner Katrina Kaif.

Kareena, who recently gave hits like Bodyguard and Ra.One, won by 1% of votes, the narrowest ever margin and beat off tough competition from some of the most stunning women from around the world.

Katrina, who had won the title for the last three years by a large margin, slipped into second place.

Eastern Eye showbiz editor Asjad Nazir said, "This battle between the two beauties is a sign of things to come in Bollywood in the next few years. Although the list contained pop stars, TV personalities, models and film stars from around the world, the voting quite comprehensively showed that Kareena and Katrina have put a distance between themselves and the rest of the contenders in terms of popularity."

Hrithik Roshan's wife Sussanne received a massive number of votes and was one of the highest new entries at number 16. Other notable stars in the list included Priyanka Chopra (3), and Bipasha Basu (4), who both slipped down one place each. Freida Pinto came 5th, followed by Deepika Padukone (7).

New entries included Jacqueline Fernandez (12), Nargis Fakhri (23) and Sonakshi Sinha (38). Aishwarya Rai Bachchan came 6th and Sonam Kapoor 9th. Lara Dutta stood at number 15 and Malaika Arora Khan at 19.

Salman hasn’t seen Sunny’s adult films!

 Ever since porn star Sunny Leone entered the ‘Bigg Boss’ house on Monday, she has been in the news. The Indian origin adult film actress must have hidden her profession from the inmates, but Salman is aware and has no problems about her status. 

When recently questioned about Sunny, Salman diplomatically denied seeing her films but said he is aware of her web success. “While I haven’t seen her work or movies before, I have heard her website has a lot of hits,” he said.

While everyone has mixed reaction towards welcoming the porn star to the country, Sallu had a different take all together.

As reported by a daily, Salman ‘Dabangg’ Khan said there shouldn’t be any objection to her profession. “She is also a person and everyone is involved in different types of work. Her family members don’t have a problem and she has a lot of fans as well,” said Khan.

Well, last week there were reports of Sunny expressing her desire to work with Sallu, we are now wondering will Salman consider that too?

Pakistan dedicates a song to Poonam Chillam Pandey!

Pakistani fans of Poonam Pandey have dedicated a song as a token of love to the sex-bombshell and have paid a tribute to her in the form of a qawwali. The music video states- “Please Note. This girl is no more Poonam Pandey but Chillam Pandey. Dedicating a song to my love from Pakistan.”

An ecstatic Poonam took to Twitter to make this news public. She wrote, “Tweethearts!!! Wht is the Meaning of CHILLAM ...coz one of my fan from PAKISTAN made a song CHILLAM PANDEY n mailed me!!!! Phew!! Heheh (sic)”

However, the girl has no clue about what “Chillam” meant. So she asked her fans to explain it to her.

Porn Star Sunny Leone ready for 'Big Job'

Indo-Canadian adult film star Sunny Leone, who is the latest entry in the Bigg Boss house as a contestan says the reality show is her gateway to the Indian entertainment industry. The 30-year-old businesswoman and model, who was named by Maxim as one of the 12 top porn stars in 2010, says she always wanted to return to her native country and work here.  

"I've always wanted to enter into Bollywood in India and Bigg Boss was the first professional offer which came my way. I do what I do outside India and I am what I am, but I run my career professionally, so this was the best offer for me," Leone told the news agency PTI.

Born to Punjabi parents in Ontario, Leone says she keeps visiting India and has grown up watching Hindi films. "These are my roots, this is who I am. I keep coming to India to visit my relatives who mostly stay in the north. I grew up watching Bollywood movies and the beautiful stars."  

 Indo-Canadian porn actress Sunny Leone is all set to join the contestants in the 'Bigg Boss' house this season. And when asked which Bollywood actor she would like to work with, Leone said, "I would love to work with the host of Bigg Boss Salman Khan. I am looking forward to meeting him."

Salman is the on-and-off host of this season of the reality show, co-hosted by Sanjay Dutt. Leone is entering the show as a participant and although she has no strategy in place, she is has been following it on Colors and knows each contestant inside the house.

"I have no plans, I am here to have a good time. This is the first time I am working in India, hopefully I will add a little bit of glamour, have some laughs, add some light because there's a lot going on in the house. I have been watching the show from the beginning and I know all the characters inside," she said. And she is also hoping to please the Indian viewers and stay on the show for a long time.

"I am entering as a participant so I will be on the show as long as India wants me. If I get nominated I hope people will vote for me to remain on the show. I think all of India is waiting to see the response when I enter the show. Lets see what happens."

A Tale of Two stars and a Kiss!

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor who has reputation of a playboy in the industry and the newbie Nargis Fakhri stirred a controversy with their lip-locking performance in a live concert. The concert was organized on November 01 in Mumbai to promote the movie 'Rockstar' slated to be released on November 11.Right from the word go Ranbir and Nargis were ready to raise the temperature and the manner in which they danced to the tunes of 'Rockstar' it was evident that they were willing to push the boundaries .
When singer Mohit Chauhan took the stage with his 'Tum Ho' number Ranbir decided to lock his lips with Nargis and the audience cheered every nanosecond of this moment.

The smooch of course is in sync with Ranbir's newfound status as Bollywood's Gen Now serial kisser. After all, the budding superstar has kissed almost all his co-stars - Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba, to be precise - in his films so far. Ranbir has a liplock with Nargis in Rockstar and the scene has been touted as a highlight sequence. Tuesday's on-stage kiss could probably have been a trailer to the real thing to come on screen. Tuesday evening's concert started with Saadda haq, the mascot song of Rockstar that has become a youth anthem of sorts.

"Ranbir and Nargis seemed so lost in each other during their performance that it was almost as if they didn't care they were at a live concert. The liplock followed. If Tuesday's performance was any indication, their chemistry in the film should be a scorcher," an eyewitness said.

While the kiss hijacked all the limelight, Rahman inadvertently forgot the lyrics while singing the number, Naadan Parindey. That, however, did not dampen the spirit of the crowd. The concert, a rare one that Rahman held in Mumbai, saw a crowd of around 10,000. Reportedly, Rahman, Ranbir, Nargis and Mohit had rehearsed for four days for the show that lasted for about an hour. Entry was free.

A high point of the concert was unseen footage of late Shammi Kapoor that was played out for the audience in between the musical performances. The film marks Shammi's last outing on screen. The iconic star of the sixties passed away on August 14, and the footage featuring him drew wide applause.
